Postdoctoral Associate – Economic Evaluation of Substance Use Disorder Interventions

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Associate interested in designing/conducting prospective comparative-economic evaluations of interventions for substance use disorder (SUD), HIV, and related conditions, alongside clinical trials and cohort studies. 

The candidate will work on a multidisciplinary team, under the direction of Sean Murphy, PhD, a leading health economist in the field of addiction. The candidate will learn empirical methods for conducting cost-effectiveness analysis, and lead data analyses of multiple NIH-funded projects.   • a PhD in economics or closely-related field 

  • health-related research experience 

  • strong written- and oral-communication skills 

  • strong teamwork skills 

  • interest in SUDs 

  • a willingness to travel to US-based research sites 

Salary established below per annum commensurate with qualifications experience: 
$75,000-$88,000 

Applicants must currently hold a doctoral degree in a relevant area of study or will have one before starting employment. The position is in New York City. Applicants must be willing to travel to research sites throughout the United States. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
