Postdoctoral Associate – Economic Evaluation of Substance Use Disorder Interventions

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Associate interested in comparative-economic evaluations of substance use disorder (SUD) interventions, alongside clinical trials and cohort studies.

The candidate will work on a multidisciplinary team, under the direction of Sean Murphy, PhD, a leading health economist in the field of addiction. The candidate will learn new empirical methods, and be responsible for: data analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement, and dissemination of findings.   • a PhD in economics or closely-related field
  • health-related research experience
  • strong written- and oral-communication skills
  • strong teamwork skills
  • interest in SUDs
  • a willingness to travel to US-based research sites

Salary established below per annum commensurate with qualifications experience:
$58,500-$88,000

Applicants must currently hold a doctoral degree in a relevant area of study or will have one before starting employment. The position is in New York City. Applicants must be willing to travel to research sites throughout the United States. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
