Gülce Askin, M.P.H., is a Research Biostatistician in the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She holds an M.P.H. from the Boston University School of Public Health, and a BA in Political Science & Globalization Studies from Gettysburg College. Prior to joining Weill Cornell Medicine, Gulce worked as a Project Coordinator for a global, non-profit organization focusing on respiratory health interventions. Gulce collaborates with numerous investigators throughout WCM, and is one of the primary biostatisticians consulting with the Radiology department. She provides biostatistical support for study design, statistical plans, data analysis, manuscripts and grant applications. In addition, she developed and currently instructs the ‘Introduction to R Programming for Clinical & Translational Research’ course through the Clinical Translational Science Center (CTSC). She serves as a representative of WCM on the Scientific Committee of the New York City Epidemiology Forum (NYCEF). Gulce programs in R and SAS.
