Lu, Yao

Yao Lu is a research biostatistician in the Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She holds a Master of Science in biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Fudan University of Shanghai, China. Before joining WCM, Yao worked on analyses of brain tumor trials at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.

Yao engages in both short- and long-term biostatistical consultations for investigators. A large part of her work centers on her support of researchers through the Clinical & Translational Science Center (CTSC), where she provides data analysis and prepares reports, method sections and analysis plans for abstracts, manuscripts and grants. She also works on several projects related to a sarcoma grant and closely with the WCM Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology on long-term projects.
