Xian Wu, M.P.H., is a research biostatistician in the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and a certificate in Applied Biostatistics. Before moving to the United States, she received her Bachelor of Medicine degree in Preventive Medicine from China. Ms. Wu has over ten years of experience studying and working in the healthcare sector including medical schools, teaching hospitals, and government agencies. Her research focuses on health-related, population-based, and policy-oriented studies using large-scale complex databases. She is interested and skilled in applying population-based study design and advanced analytics to extract, bring meaning to, and motivate people to act on healthcare data.
