Certificate in Health Informatics

Our Certificate in Health Informatics trains students in the effective use of informatics and information technology to organize, coordinate, manage and deliver high-quality care. Health Informatics is the field that is concerned with the optimal use of information, often aided by the use of technology and people, to improve individual health, healthcare, public health and biomedical research. The ultimate goal of this specialization is to improve quality and value in healthcare through data-driven decision-making, by optimizing the use of currently available information technologies or by creating new tools and methods.
