The Department of Population Health Sciences is dedicated to transforming health care and population health through innovative research, critical evidence development and comprehensive educational programs. Our world-class faculty conducts groundbreaking research in health-care policy, data analytics (including cutting-edge artificial intelligence techniques), epidemiology and health outcomes, with the goal of improving population health.
We are committed to training the next generation of health-care leaders through rigorous programs that equip students with advanced skills in analytics, economics, policy and health-care delivery science. Our graduates go on to drive meaningful change in health-care delivery, public health, policy, technology and academic research.
The Department of Population Health Sciences partners closely with Weill Cornell Medicine, New York Presbyterian Hospital and schools and colleges across Cornell via initiatives such as the INSIGHT Clinical Research Network, the AI Institute for Digital Health and the Cornell Health Policy Center.
