The mission of the Division is to improve the public’s health by advancing knowledge as it relates to the causes and prevention of disease through innovative and multidisciplinary research. Epidemiology is the study of the distribution and determinants of health conditions in human populations. Our faculty have a diverse range of expertise including genetics, cancer, infectious disease, mental health, sports injury, and nutrition. Our Division embraces collaboration and has partners from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, WCM-Qatar, Cornell University in Ithaca, Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Incidence Rates of Metastatic Prostate Cancer at Time of Diagnosis Among Black Men in NYC
