Rainu Kaushal: National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network Steering Committee

Dr. Rainu Kaushal was appointed to the National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network Steering Committee as a member in January. Dr. Kaushal is chair of the Department of Healthcare Policy and Research, the Frances and John L. Loeb Professor of Medical Informatics, and a professor of healthcare policy and research; and medicine.

An initiative of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, the network is dedicated to improving the nation's capacity to conduct comparative effectiveness research by creating a large, highly representative network for conducting clinical outcomes research.
