Will Simmons is a Research Biostatistician III in the Division of Biostatistics. He holds an MPH in epidemiology with a certificate in applied biostatistics from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, and a BS in neuroscience from Baylor University. Before joining Weill Cornell Medicine, Will worked with the Earth Institute at Columbia University researching climate and health.
Will works with physicians in the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care, with research topics ranging from pediatric mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic to diseases such as sepsis and interstitial lung disease. In addition to his statistical consulting work, Will is also a teaching assistant for several courses in the WCM master’s program in Biostatistics & Data Science.
