The Weill Cornell Physician Organization has selected six outstanding faculty for the Healthcare Leadership Fellows Program (2024-2025) to foster their development as leaders.
Sponsored by the Michael J. Wolk Heart Foundation, the program was created in 2012 to address the growing need for physician leaders in a rapidly transforming health care industry. Over the last 13 years, 86 Weill Cornell Medicine faculty members have been selected as Fellows, with many taking on leadership roles in departments and committees at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian.
The program's goal is to equip the next generation of leaders with the tools and strategies needed to develop innovative, patient-centered, and cost-effective health care solutions. Fellows will receive leadership training opportunities, mentorship, and opportunities to interact with nationally recognized leaders.
