Position Summary
Manages day-to-day financial, administrative and/or related operational activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the office.
Job Responsibilities
- Calendar management for Division Chief. Oversees all aspects of the logistics and coordination for Cornell Health Policy Center, including the preparation of all new hire interviews.
- Processes expense reimbursements for faculty.
- Coordinates purchases for faculty and staff.
- Coordinates new hire onboarding for divisional faculty and staff.
- Process etime hours for payroll.
- Coordinates divisional and department events.
- Creates PowerPoint presentations and excel projects.
- Ensures smooth functioning of the offices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Experience
Prior experience in an academic medical center (2 years).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to handle a fast pace environment and deadlines. Knowledge of Macintosh and PC computers.
- Excellent administrative, organizational skills.
- Ability to work on a number of tasks simultaneously and prioritize.
