Position Summary

Works closely with the Admissions and Recruitment manager on admissions and recruitment related tasks. Oversees the application and enrollment process for admissions into the M.S. in Healthcare Policy and Research program. Maintains and organize admissions and recruitment data. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees the application process for all applicants in the pipeline for the M.S. program.
  • Updates application guidelines/rubrics, trains faculty and education staff on the use of the application software, and resolves any problems identified by applicants or faculty on application-related matters.
  • Ensures all application and verification documents are collected, and serves as a liaison with the Graduate School and various WCM departments as needed.
  • Communicats all M.S. in Healthcare Policy application changes and needs with the Graduate School/Liaison.
  • Organizes and provides admissions and recruitment data to the Admissions and Recruitment manager as needed.
  • Oversees the enrollment process; ensures the tuition deposit and/or deferral deposits are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensures the admissions department receives all official transcripts prior to the start of the term and that all incoming students have completed an undergraduate degree.
  • Works with student accounting and the Program Coordinator for Current Students to ensure a smooth enrollment process for students.
  • Communicates and responds to inquiries from potential applicants, follows up with current application leads, assists candidates with completion of applications, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines, and verifies for accuracy.
  • Coordinates processes surrounding student admissions. Facilitates admissions notifications.
  • Responsible for tracking all student admissions activities and maintaining student admissions records. Maintains CRM for all incoming students to track life-cycle of applications.
  • Assists with recruitment, scheduling and outreach for the M.S. program.
  • Assists with recruitment, scheduling and outreach for the education program. Assists with the preparation of materials for external and internal program-related presentations. May need to present materials at meetings.
  • Works closely with Admission and Recruitment Manager on changes needed for admissions portion of website and recruitment materials. Assists with admissions events including recruitment events, information sessions, admitted student days, etc.

Education

  • High School Diploma

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Approximately 2 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in an academic research environment preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications.
