Bilal Shaikh

Bilal Shaikh is a research biostatistician II in the Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) Division of Biostatistics. He holds an MS in health policy and economics from the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Science, a post-graduate diploma in pharmaceutical marketing, and a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences. Prior to joining the Division of Biostatistics, Bilal was an assistant product manager (Marketing and Analytics) at a pharmaceutical company, and a graduate student assistant in the Department of Population Health Sciences at WCM.

Bilal works closely with investigators to perform statistical analysis and prepare reports for data monitoring committees, federal regulatory agencies, and study sponsors. He works closely with the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Meyer Cancer Center (biostatistical support for cancer clinical trials), and consults with the Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) to provide researchers across WCM with biostatistical support.
