Wu, Alan

Alan Wu, M.S., is a research biostatistician III in the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. He holds an M.S. in biostatistics from Columbia University and a B.S. in mathematics and biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before joining Weill Cornell Medicine, Alan worked as a programmer for the Department of Health in Long Island City.

Alan currently holds consultations with clinical investigators for both short and long-term projects and specializes in analysis plans, data wrangling, statistical analysis, methods sections, and report writing. Additionally, he works closely with Dr. Zachary Grinspan on the Learning Healthcare System for Pediatric Epilepsy to collect, analyze, and rapidly disseminate changes in practice in pediatric epilepsy care. He also acts as the co-lead statistician for a consortium of doctors specializing in pediatric Covid outcomes. Alan Wu uses R for his analyses.
