Dr. Art Sedrakyan: U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

Dr. Art Sedrakyan, an associate professor of healthcare policy and research and of healthcare policy and research in cardiothoracic surgery, received an award from the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for his successful tenure as the vice chair of the Medicare Evidence Development and Coverage Advisory Committee. The CMS administers Medicare, Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program in partnership with state governments and private health insurance programs.
