The Division of Health Policy and Economics of the Department of Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City is recruiting a postdoctoral associate to conduct aging-related research. The postdoctoral associate will work under the supervision of Dr. Mark Unruh, associate professor. The ideal candidate will conduct quantitative research using large, health insurance claims-based analytic files. The Department has significant data resources, including a nationally representative sample of Medicare claims, experienced programmers who support data management, and a state-of-the-art computing environment.
The successful candidate will participate in health policy and economics research with a focus on two areas: (1) ownership structures of nursing homes, home health agencies, and hospices and the quality and cost of care; and (2) care transitions in post-acute and long-term care settings.

The minimum salary established below per annum commensurate with qualifications experience: $75,812
