Winston Luhur, MPH, is a research data specialist within the Department of Population Health Sciences, working with Dr. Czarina Behrends. They are primarily working on survey design and implementation, as well as data analysis and management. Prior to joining PHS, Winston worked as a research assistant at the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law, where they focused on healthcare access for transgender people in the US alongside projects pertaining to poverty, immigration, and education inequities among LGBTQ+ people. Winston obtained their MPH in epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with a certificate in applied biostatistics, and their BS in molecular, cell and developmental biology from UCLA.
