Dr. Madelon Finkel to Virtually Present “East Meets West: How Medical Schools Adapted to COVID-19” at International Medical Summit

Madelon Finkel, PhD, professor of population health sciences and director of the Office of Global Health Education at Weill Cornell Medical College, is set to virtually present at the QS Subject Focus Summit - Medicine, with the theme of “The Future of Medicine: Challenges and Opportunities in the Disruptive Era.” The summit is hosted by Chulalongkorn University Medical School in Bangkok, which has a partnership with Weill Cornell Center for Global Health. Dr. Finkel will present “East meets West: How medical schools adapted to COVID-19” on August 4. She is part of a group of international experts helping the scientific community understand how the eastern and western hemispheres can learn from each other, how pandemics and disruptions have changed medicine in the past, and the opportunities for research collaboration, new teaching methods, and digital transformation.
